Pashinyan: It's often hard to admit that we don't know something

On Labour Day marked on 1 May, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of knowledge and education as the foundation of individual and national prosperity.

“Often, whether individually or collectively, it’s hard to admit that we don’t know something, even though it’s clear that no one knows everything,” Pashinyan said in a message. “We live poorly to the extent of our ignorance and well to the extent of our knowledge. To improve our well-being, we must reduce what we don’t know and expand what we do.”

He stressed that meaningful progress comes when work is tied to continuous learning and skill development, across all fields – from craftsmanship and entrepreneurship to public service and leadership.

“This approach underpins our government's strategy. Acknowledging the need for growth means recognizing that there is still much we don’t know," Pashinyan added.
