Opposition MP Taguhi Tovmasyan on Tuesday dismissed criticism from ruling Civil Contract faction MP Hayk Konjoryan regarding her property holdings, stating she legally owns three apartments in Yerevan – one used as the editorial office of Zhoghovurd daily founded by her, another purchased before marriage and a third jointly with her husband.
Tovmasyan revealed plans to buy a fourth house soon using income tax benefits: "Let Nikol Pashinyan and his team know – I'll buy a fifth one too if necessary,” the MP added.
Responding to questions about how she could afford them as a journalist, she said all properties were bought through mortgage loans, adding, "If Konjoryan had been a good journalist, he could’ve had one too."
