Virtual reality premiere of Aivazovsky’s 'Seascape' to be held in Dilijan

On May 18, International Museum Day, the Dilijan Local Lore Museum and Art Gallery will host the virtual reality premiere of Hovhannes Aivazovsky’s Seascape. The event begins at 3:00 p.m. and is part of the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports’ grant program supporting cultural heritage preservation and promotion.

Thanks to this project, museum visitors can enjoy an exclusive experience—using special VR headsets to step into the world of the painting, follow the movement of the ship through the stormy sea, and even witness Aivazovsky himself seated beside them, capturing the masterpiece with his brush.
