Armenian museums welcome visitors free of charge today

In celebration of International Museum Day and the Museum Night initiative, museums across Armenia will welcome visitors free of charge on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to midnight. On May 18, entrance to exhibitions will remain free during regular hours.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports reports that more than 100 museums nationwide have joined the program, offering a wide array of exhibitions, educational events and cultural programs. The initiative aims to highlight the essential role of museums in addressing contemporary challenges and preserving cultural heritage.

This year’s theme, "The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities," focuses on how museums can respond to global socio-technological and climate challenges.
