Ambulance staff attacked in Yerevan

Ambulance workers, including doctors and drivers, were assaulted by a group of individuals near the intersection of Paronyan and Leo Streets in Yerevan on Friday, Yerevan Municipality spokesman Hayk Kostanyan reported.

"The Yerevan Municipality strongly condemns any form of violence against healthcare professionals and emergency service workers," Kostanyan said in a statement.

"These people save lives every day, often putting their own safety at risk. Such behavior is not only unacceptable but also deserves the strictest legal response," he added.
