Azerbaijan demolishes structures in occupied Artsakh

Elchin Yusubov, the Azerbaijani president’s special envoy, has announced the demolition of what he described as “illegal structures” in Azeri-occupied Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), including Stepanakert, Ivanyan and nearby settlements, as part of the“large-scale construction and restoration efforts”.

Speaking at a forum on Monday, Yusubov stated that numerous “unauthorized construction projects” had been carried out by Armenians in the areas.

Yusubov also revealed the "Karabakh University Campus" is currently being established in Stepanakert, and the surrounding area is being cleared as part of the project, with only buildings that meet specific standards being preserved.
