78 Armenians displaced from Artsakh employed by Interior Ministry

78 Armenians forcibly displaced from Artsakh have been employed by the Interior Ministry of Armenia, Minister Arpine Sargsyan announced at the parliamentary debates on the 2024 state budget execution on Wednesday.

According to Sargsyan, 15 of the newly hired employees were previously civil servants, while 63 had served in the police system.

She revealed that the ministry continues to receive new applications and emphasized that the recruitment process is ongoing.

“Joining the police force involves certain procedures,” Sargsyan explained, adding that the applicants who successfully pass the required screening stages are being integrated into the ministry’s workforce.
