Expert outlines key steps for Armenia amid escalating Middle East tensions

Iran specialist Vardan Voskanyan has outlined a series of urgent measures the Armenian government should take amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following Israel’s attack on Iran.

In a social media post on Friday, Voskanyan emphasized that national unity must be Armenia’s top priority.

“There is nothing more important than the security of our state and nation,” he wrote.

The expert called for increased combat readiness of the Armenian armed forces, particularly in light of the ongoing Azerbaijani-Turkish military exercises in Nakhichevan.

Voskanyan also urged the Armenian authorities to establish discreet coordination mechanisms with allied nations through confidential channels.

“It’s essential to maintain constant communication with Iran through both diplomatic and security avenues,” he added.
