Armen Minasyan: Israel an excellent example for nations with a vision for future

The world has been closely following the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran since Friday. The confrontation began with Israeli strikes targeting Iran's top military officers, scientists, airbases, missile and nuclear sites.

The latest developments have once again prompted analysts to examine maps, particularly to assess the proximity of Iran’s damaged nuclear facilities to Armenia. But the first thing that stands out on the map is Israel’s size.

I spoke with political analyst Armen Minasyan on the matter.

– Mr. Minasyan, it’s frustrating. Israel is such a tiny country, barely the size of a fingertip on the map, and it’s certainly not surrounded by friends. Yet it acts boldly and asserts itself on the global stage. Meanwhile, back home, we are left paralyzed under the so-called "boldness" of Nikol Pashinyan. Why is it so?

– The Israeli state and people perceive reality in an entirely different way. Peoples who have endured suffering for millennia don’t run away from their fate; they don't reject the challenges of their past and present. Instead, they face them head-on. They adapt to those challenges and respond accordingly.

Of course, I don’t mean to say that Israel is free of problems or flaws. But in many cases, it serves as an excellent example for nations and peoples with a vision for the future.
