No Armenians have been identified among the victims of a recent Iranian missile strike on the Israeli city of Petah Tikva, according to Artiom Chernamorian, editor-in-chief of the newspaper Israelahayer (Armenians of Israel) and founder of a nonprofit group called Nairi Union of Armenians in Petah Tikva.
“At the moment, four fatalities and dozens of injuries are reported in Petah Tikva. Fortunately, there are no Armenian victims –we are safe,” Chernamorian said.
The deadly conflict between Israel and Iran entered its fourth day on Monday, with both sides firing new waves of missiles overnight amid international pleas for diplomacy and de-escalation. Iran’s early Monday strikes have hit an Israeli oil refinery and damaged part of the power grid, CNN reported.
