Former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan warned on Tuesday that a prolonged conflict between Israel and Iran could have increasingly unpredictable consequences for Armenia.
“The longer the Israel-Iran war lasts, the more unpredictable consequences Armenia will face,” he told reporters ahead of a court hearing.
When asked how Armenia should respond to the emerging threats, Sargsyan stressed the need for coordination.
“Organizational work and the mobilization of all state agencies are essential,” he noted.
Responding to questions regarding the impeachment process against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Sargsyan dismissed claims that the effort had stalled.
“Are you fully familiar with the process to make such predictions?” he countered.
