Artiom Chernamorian, editor-in-chief of the newspaper Israelahayer (Armenians of Israel) and founder of a nonprofit group called Nairi Union of Armenians in Petah Tikva, says that no Armenians have been identified among the victims of Iranian strikes on Israel.
In a social media post on Thursday, Chernamorian revealed that the latest missile strikes left 24 people injured, including four in critical condition. An Iranian missile struck the Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva. Several residential buildings also came under attack.
“I was wondering why they were relentlessly shelling Petah Tikva. It turns out, they’re targeting hospitals,” he wrote. “Thank God, there have been no fatalities. The Armenians are doing well, we’ve received updates from all cities.”
