Armenia's judicial system burdened with irrelevant processes, deputy PM says
Armenia's judicial system remains heavily burdened with procedures that have little to do with the execution of justice, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan announced at a discussion on the sidelines of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform on Tuesday.
According to Grigoryan, these issues have accumulated over the years and are now being addressed in an effort to turn the judiciary into an institution that delivers justice, rather than one that simply performs bureaucratic functions.
"This is a highly complex process," Grigoryan noted, adding that the artificial overburdening of the system leads to further complications.
