Armenia's Rescue Services to monitor Sevan in 24/7 mode

Starting July 1, Armenia’s Interior Ministry has placed its water patrol and rescue services on high alert at Lake Sevan and surrounding areas.

Teams will operate around the clock to promptly respond to incidents and prevent emergencies. The ministry urges the public to follow water safety rules and avoid swimming after consuming alcohol.

Violations of safety regulations and public order will result in legal consequences for all offenders.

“Your safety is at the core of our daily service. Follow the rules to protect yourself and others,” the ministry said.
