Authorities raid ENA headquarters and board chairman's home

Law enforcement authorities conducted morning searches at the headquarters of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) and the residence of the company’s board chairman, Narek Karapetyan.

According to Hraparak, officers entered Karapetyan’s home early on Tuesday morning and carried out a search at the premises. Karapetyan is the nephew of prominent businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan.

“It was evident that Narek Karapetyan would be the next target of Nikol Pashinyan’s repressive actions,” the outlet said.

Separately, Armlur.am reported that law enforcement officers entered the ENA office at around 8am. According to the news outlet, the company’s spokesperson said they were unaware of the details but confirmed that law enforcement had restricted access to the headquarters, preventing employees from entering the building.
