On July 16, the Disciplinary Committee of Armenia’s Interior Ministry convened a session chaired by Ara Fidanyan, the committee chairman and secretary general of the ministry.
According to an official statement issued by the ministry, the committee reviewed the findings of internal investigations concerning the conduct of four police officers.
Following a thorough examination of the circumstances, the committee recommended that disciplinary measures be taken: two officers are to be dismissed from the police force, while the remaining two will receive formal reprimands.
