Over 2,000 vehicles stuck on major Armenian highway

A major traffic jam has paralyzed a section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, with more than 2,000 vehicles reportedly stranded for over an hour.

According to Shamshyan.com, the congestion stretches for approximately 4 kilometers within the administrative boundaries of Hrazdan. Drivers have been unable to move for more than 90 minutes, with traffic at a complete halt.

The exact cause of the jam remains unclear. However, several drivers at the scene suggested that ongoing roadwork, specifically asphalt resurfacing, may be to blame for the disruption.
