Real Sociedad provides update on Arsen Zakharyan's health

The health condition of midfielder Arsen Zakharyan is improving, TASS reports, citing Real Sociedad’s press office.

It was previously reported that Zakharyan would miss the team’s tour of Japan. The Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo noted that he would remain in Spain to recover from a virus.

"Arsen is working on an individual program. His condition is improving," the club’s press service stated.

Zakharyan, 22, has not played in an official match due to injury since February 23. The Russian-Armenian joined Real Sociedad in August 2023. In the past season, he made four appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
