Armenian soldiers out of danger after military truck crash

Armenian Ministry of Defense spokesperson Aram Torosyan says no lives are at risk following a traffic accident involving military vehicles in Gegharkunik Province on Wednesday morning. The soldiers involved were examined at a medical facility and none required hospitalization.

Earlier, Shamshyan.com reported that at approximately 9:50am, a collision occurred on the 6th kilometer of the Sevan–Martuni highway involving a Ford Transit van and two Ural trucks registered to the Ministry of Defense. The impact caused the Ford Transit to become wedged between the two military trucks.

In the wake of the crash, four servicemen were taken to the Sevan Medical Center. Medical personnel later confirmed that their injuries were not life-threatening.
