Car crash in Yerevan leaves three injured

A traffic accident occurred in Yerevan shortly after midnight on Saturday, involving an Audi A4 and a Toyota Camry. As a result of the collision, the Toyota veered off the road, hitting a metal pole and coming to a stop on a grassy area.

Three people were injured and hospitalized in the wake of the accident, Shamshyan.com reported.

A fire and rescue crew from the Interior Ministry’s Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers assisted in moving one of the injured to an ambulance, disconnected the power supplies of the vehicles and shut off the gas valves to prevent further hazards.

A criminal investigation has been launched to determine the identities of the drivers and the injured passengers.
