The Artsakh Culture Preservation Center NGO has received an official invitation to participate in an international folklore festival taking place in Italy from July 25 to August 24. The event is organized by the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts (CIOFF) in collaboration with UNESCO.
“Following the recent Artsakh war and the forced displacement of its population, our center has remained the sole institution consistently committed to preserving and promoting Artsakh’s cultural heritage despite all the challenges,” the NGO stated.
As part of the initiative, a collaborative cultural program is currently being prepared, featuring Artsakh's State Ensemble of National Instruments and State Dance Ensemble. Their joint performance aims to honor and share Armenian culture with a global audience.
"This participation marks yet another step in the ongoing journey to safeguard Artsakh’s identity and cultural resilience," the organization emphasized.
