On the Criminal Proceedings Related to David Papazian’s Activities within the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF)

In response to our inquiry, the RA Prosecutor’s Office provided us with the following answers, which we present here in full:

Question: Is there any criminal proceeding within the jurisdiction of the criminal prosecution bodies of the Republic of Armenia that has been initiated on the basis of a complaint by, or in connection with, the Arab Organization for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK)?
Answer: No criminal proceeding has currently been initiated in connection with the application submitted by the Organization you mentioned. The Prosecutor General’s Office is reviewing the complaint.

Question: In the framework of the criminal proceedings concerning the activities of the “Armenian National Interests Fund” CJSC (ANIF), has any information been received regarding the former director of the company, David Papazian, and his possible connections with the intelligence services of the United States and/or Israel?
Answer: For the purposes of protecting the interests of the investigation, it is not possible to provide that information.
