Hot, dry weather to persist across Armenia

Armenia is in for warmer weather starting August 31.

From August 28 to September 2, no rainfall is expected anywhere in the country, including Yerevan.

Meteorologists warn of a high fire risk, with winds gusting up to 18 m/s in Armavir, Kotayk, Aragatsotn Provinces and Yerevan on August 28-29.

Temperatures are set to rise gradually by 3-5C between August 31 and September 1.
