New Armenian ruling party MP named

On August 27, Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) received a notice from the National Assembly speaker confirming the early termination of MP Arsen Torosyan’s mandate.

At its August 29 session, the CEC granted the vacant parliamentary seat to Ester Ayvazyan, the next candidate on the ruling Civil Contract party’s electoral list.
