Putin, Erdogan discuss South Caucasus on SCO summit sidelines

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have discussed a number of regional affairs, including the Middle East, North Africa and the South Caucasus, Interfax reported.

"Matters of common interest, such as the Middle East, North Africa and the South Caucasus, are also high on our agenda. Russian-Turkish interaction in all of these areas is well-established and has a specific, useful and I would say trust-based nature," Putin said.
