MP: Failed foreign policy leaves Armenia vulnerable to Baku and Ankara's agenda

MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction has strongly criticized Armenia’s foreign policy, arguing that it has left the country exposed to the unilateral decisions of Azerbaijan and Turkey.

“Turkey continues to brandish its sword, making Azerbaijan's priorities the cornerstone of any normalization process with Armenia,” he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

Abrahamyan argued that the Armenian leadership's multiple concessions, which included removing the Armenian Genocide from the international agenda and allowing Ankara to dominate regional dynamics, have yielded no tangible results.

“Given the current reality and Armenia’s failed foreign policy, Baku and Ankara are now dictating terms to Yerevan, legitimizing their war crimes and rewriting the region’s history,” the MP added.
