Armen Danielyan elected to Armenia's Court of Cassation

Armenia’s National Assembly on Thursday elected Armen Danielyan as a judge of the Court of Cassation’s Criminal Chamber.

 

Danielyan’s candidacy was one of three put forward by the Supreme Judicial Council, alongside Lusine Abgaryan and Nelly Baghdasaryan. Out of 107 MPs, 66 took part in the vote. Danielyan secured an overwhelming majority with 65 votes, while Abgaryan received just one and Baghdasaryan none.
