Armenia's Sargis Stepanyan wins World Para-Armwrestling Championship in Bulgaria

Armenian athlete Sargis Stepanyan has captured his fourth world title at the 27th World Para-Armwrestling Championship being held in Albena, Bulgaria, on September 10-23. He became a world champion in the 80 kg weight category on Tuesday.

The competition brought together athletes from 58 countries, which makes Stepanyan's victory even more valuable.

"This is already my fourth World Champion title, and throughout my sporting career I have also become a five-time European champion, as well as a two-time World Cup winner," he wrote on Facebook.

"I sincerely thank you all for your support and trust. This victory belongs to you as well," the athlete added.
