Cyclone to bring rain, storms across Armenia

An active cyclone is approaching Armenia from the Black Sea, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reported on Thursday.

In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are expected on September 19, with wind gusts reaching 15-17 m/s. Dry weather is forecast for September 20 and 22, while showers are possible on September 18 and 21.

Brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some Armenian regions on September 18, 19, 20 and 22. On September 19, most regions will see rain, thunderstorms and strong winds, with hail possible in some areas. Temperatures are set to drop by 7-9C tomorrow.
