Twenty hikers lost in Teghut forest found safe

A group of 20 hikers who had lost their way in a forest near Teghut, a village in Armenia’s Tavush Province, were found safe late on Sunday, the Rescue Service reported.

The hikers became disoriented while descending from Dimats Mountain, prompting an emergency call at 8:47 p.m. A rescue team from the Interior Ministry was dispatched to the scene and soon located the group unharmed, escorting them back to their vehicles.
