Over 5,000 volunteers join Samvel Karapetyan's movement

More than 5,000 volunteers have joined the Our Way (Mer Dzevov) movement founded by detained businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan in just a month and a half, its coordinator Narek Karapetyan, First Deputy Chairman of the Tashir Group of Companies, announced at the inaugural meeting of the movement on Saturday.

Karapetyan noted that hundreds of people reach out to him daily by phone and online, expressing readiness to volunteer and contribute to change in the country.

According to him, if the current pace continues, the movement membership could grow to tens of thousands in the coming months, evolving into a “major force” for irreversible changes in society.

“Our team is young, and many wonder why so many people are joining us,” Karapetyan said. “The reason is Samvel Karapetyan – his name, integrity and commitment to preserving the honor of the Armenian people. Through his ideas and initiatives, we aim to make Armenia a model country at least in the region.”
