Mnatsakan Abrahamyan wins silver at European Weightlifting Championships

Armenian weightlifter Mnatsakan Abrahamyan claimed a silver medal at the European Junior and U23 Championships held in Durres, Albania.

Competing in the 94 kg category, Abrahamyan lifted 160 kg in the snatch, finishing third in the event, and went on to take first place in the clean and jerk with a lift of 201 kg. His combined total of 361 kg secured him the runner-up position.

He represents the Armenian national team, coached by Pashik Alaverdyan, with Hakob Pilosyan as assistant coach and David Muradyan as his personal trainer.
