AntiFake staff delivers letter to U.S. Embassy

Employees of the opposition media outlet AntiFake, founded by detained activist and podcaster Narek Samsonyan, gathered outside the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan on Friday to hand-deliver a letter to embassy officials.

The group said the letter outlines ongoing political persecution against Samsonyan and his colleague Vazgen Saghatelyan, co-hosts of the Imnemnimi podcast, which airs on AntiFake's YouTube channel.

Samsonyan and Saghatelyan, known for their outspoken criticism of the government, have been detained for two months on charges of hooliganism widely rejected as politically motivated.
