Building collapse in Yerevan leaves one injured

A section of an exterior wall at a disused piano factory on Shirak Street in Yerevan collapsed on Monday morning, Armenia’s Rescue Service reported.

Two fire and rescue crews, along with specialist response units and operational teams, were dispatched to the scene. According to initial assessments, part of a three-storey structure used as a storage area for household goods and food products gave way.

One person was injured in the wake of the collapse. Authorities promised to provide further details later.
