Three Polish football fans hospitalized in Yerevan after assault

Three Polish nationals were hospitalized in Yerevan following an assault early on Friday, Shamshyan.com reported, citing police.

The victims, aged 36, 44 and 44, were taken to the Heratsi University Hospital for examination. Authorities say they were unable to provide statements at the time due to their injuries.

Police investigations revealed that the assault occurred at the Caucasus Tavern in Yerevan. Official reports have been forwarded to the Yerevan City Investigative Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee.

The victims had traveled to Armenia to attend Thursday’s Europa Conference League match between Noah and Legia Warszawa, which ended 2-1.
