Azeri prosecutor seeks life sentence for Ruben Vardanyan

The Baku Military Court on Thursday continued hearings in the sham trial of Armenian entrepreneur and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, a former Artsakh state minister unlawfully detained in Azerbaijan for more than two years.

According to Azerbaijani media reports, the Azerbaijani prosecutor dealing with the case delivered a statement to the panel, calling for a life sentence for Vardanyan.
