Multi-vehicle crash in Armenian town leaves two injured

Four vehicles have collided in Abovyan, a town in Armenia’s Kotak Province, leaving two injured, the Rescue Service reported.

The crash happened at 12:02 p.m. on Saturday and involved a Mercedes-Benz, a Kia, a Hongqi and a GAZelle van. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene.

A Mercedes-Benz passenger was taken to hospital before the arrival of rescuers. Rescuers later made the vehicles safe by cutting power and shutting gas valves, and assisted another injured person into an ambulance.
