Truck jack-knifes on Yerevan-Kapan highway, causing traffic disruption

A cargo truck jack-knifed on the Yerevan–Kapan highway on Saturday, temporarily reducing traffic to a single lane, Armenia’s Rescue Service said.

The alert was received at 11:42 a.m. local time by the Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center, which dispatched two fire and rescue crews to the scene.

Rescuers, working with staff from the Goris Road Construction and Maintenance Company, towed and realigned the Mercedes Benz lorry, restoring two-way traffic. No injuries were reported.
