Armenian Consulate in Aleppo continues operations amid clashes

The Armenian Consulate General in Aleppo said on Wednesday it remains open and continues to provide services to Armenian and foreign citizens despite recent fighting in the city.

“The Consulate General of Armenia in Aleppo continues its activities, offering consular services to Armenian and foreign nationals,” the mission said in a statement.

The announcement comes a day after clashes erupted in Aleppo between Syrian government troops and Kurdish-led forces.
