Armenian rescuers freed 54 stuck vehicles in three days

Armenian rescuers freed 54 vehicles and assisted 84 people over three days after heavy snowfall caused widespread road blockages, the Interior Ministry’s Rescue Service reported on Saturday.

From 8:00 a.m. on Jan. 7 to 8:00 a.m. on Jan. 10, emergency centers received multiple alerts about stranded vehicles across the country.

Rescue units responded alongside police patrols, local authorities and road maintenance workers to clear the blockages and provide assistance to affected drivers and passengers.
