Car crash in Armenian city leaves three injured

Three people have been hospitalized after a collision between a minibus and a car in Armenia’s Shirak Province.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Teryan and Shahumyan Streets in Gyumri, the country’s second-largest city, on Saturday morning, Shamshyan.com reported.

A Gazelle minibus operating on the Gyumri-Arapi route, driven by 50-year-old Suren A., collided with a Mercedes car driven by 37-year-old Karen A., both residents of Shirak Province.

Emergency services confirmed that three passengers sustained injuries and were moved to Gyumri Medical Centre for treatment. Their identities are being established.

A criminal investigation has been launched into the incident.
