Snowfall strands over 100 vehicles in Armenia

Heavy snowfall in Armenia left 113 vehicles stranded over the past threedays, the Rescue Service reported.

Between 3 February at 8 a.m. and 6 February at 8 a.m., crisis management centres received multiple calls reporting vehicles trapped in snow. Rescue teams, working alongside police patrols, local officials and road maintenance crews, freed the vehicles and assisted 219 people.
