Balanced regional development at the heart of Samvel Karapetyan's agenda

Armenian philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan has placed balanced regional development at the center of his efforts, spearheading the transformation of neglected public spaces in provincial cities.

In Vanadzor, a long-abandoned Soviet-era underpass and adjacent park were redeveloped in 2018 into a modern multi-functional complex through Karapetyan’s investment and the initiative of former lawmaker Karen Karapetyan.

The site now hosts play zones, entertainment and retail centers, and a cinema, becoming a focal point for family outings, youth activities, and community gatherings.
