House fire in Armenian village leaves two injured

Two people were injured and hospitalized following a house fire in Jrarat, a village in Armenia’s Armavir Province, early on Thursday.

The blaze was reported at 4:06 a.m., prompting the dispatch of two fire and rescue crews to the scene.

The fire was contained at 4:44 a.m. and put out at 5:47 a.m.

Around 60 square meters of the property, as well as a nearby greenhouse covering roughly 10 square meters, were damaged in the blaze.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
