No casualties among Armenians in Israel amid attacks

There are no casualties among Armenians in Israel amid hostilities, according to Artiom Chernamorian, editor-in-chief of the Israelahayer newspaper and founder of the Nairi Union of Armenians in Petah Tikva.

Chernamorian said the fighting continues and civilians remain under threat as rocket attacks target parts of the country.

“Two foreign construction workers were killed and one civilian was seriously wounded in a missile strike this morning,” he said. “The country’s central region was targeted again.”

Despite the attacks, Chernamorian said there have been no casualties among the Armenian community.

Air raid sirens sounded overnight and again in the morning, forcing residents to seek shelter, he added.

“War is brutal and ordinary people are always the ones who suffer,” Chernamorian said.
