Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan will head a 13-member delegation to Istanbul from April 16 to 19 to attend the 152nd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly, according to an order signed by Simonyan.
The delegation includes senior lawmakers and parliamentary staff, among them Sargis Khandanyan, chair of the foreign relations committee, Tsovinar Vardanyan, chair of the finance and budget committee, and Davit Arakelyan, secretary-general of the parliament staff.
Simonyan instructed Arakelyan to oversee travel, accommodation and related expenses in line with parliamentary regulations on overseas missions.
Some members will travel between April 12 and 20 to cover preparatory and follow-up engagements.
