Debate on new economic vision held in Yerevan

The Economic Wave initiative on Saturday hosted a panel discussion in Yerevan titled “Proposal to Armenia: A New Economic Policy”. The discussion centered on strategies to strengthen Armenia’s economy and build long‑term resilience.

Former Prosperous Armenia Party MP Shake Isayan outlined the scope of the program, stressing that several policy concepts have already been unveiled. They include proposals to modernize Armenia’s investment framework, launch major economic and infrastructure projects, address the banking sector issues, raise pensions and reform emergency services. A blueprint for guaranteed peace has also been presented.

Isayan said the next stage will focus on Gyumri, Armenia’s second‑largest city, with a comprehensive development plan expected soon.

“We are putting forward concepts aimed at Armenia’s economic rebirth and a stable future,” she added.
