Magnitude 2.7 earthquake hits Armenia

A magnitude 2.7 earthquake struck Armenia's Gegharkunik Province on Tuesday.

The tremor occurred 8 kilometers southeast of the town of Martuni at a depth of 10 kilometers, the Interior Ministry reported.

Residents in the villages of Zolakar and Madina felt the quake with an intensity of 2-3 on the MSK scale.
