Narek Karapetyan signals coalition bid ahead of elections, calls for unity

Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the Strong Armenia party, announced plans to enter upcoming elections through a coalition with new political forces, emphasizing unity as key to addressing national challenges.

In a video message shared on Saturday, Karapetyan said the Armenian public expects political consolidation, framing unity as essential for stability and progress.

“Our people want unity from us. Unity is what will bring strong peace. Unity is what will strengthen our country and our divided nation,” he said.

“Today, Strong Armenia declares that we are opening our doors to all new forces that want to unite and change Armenia’s course, that want to build a strong Armenia,” Karapetyan added.

He said the party intends to form a coalition under the name “Strong Armenia with Samvel Karapetyan”. 

“Together, we will be able to meet the people’s expectations and address the challenges facing the country,” the politician noted.
