Armenia truck crash leaves driver hospitalised

A trailer truck veered off the Sisian-Goris highway in Armenia late on Tuesday, ending up in a field.

Emergency services said the Renault truck left the road at around 10:03 p.m. local time. Rescuers disconnected the power supply of the vehicle before assisting the driver, who was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
